Responsibility:
•    Customer focused to maintain existing relationships and grow new ones to reach sales objectives. 
•    Support global management in sales forecasting, plan preparation, sales inventory, quality notifications, receivables collection, credit notes. 
•    Report on sales in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales and market information into CRM. 
•    Contributes and support customer service team in prices list preparation and follow-up. 
•    Support marketing in ad-hoc projects (e.g. pricing, value proposition). 
•    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
•    Drive the Kennametal cultural beliefs of Customer First, Everyone Matters, Own It, Be Bold, Focus Now.

 

Requirement:
•    Bachelor’s degree (preferred Master’s Degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Business Administration or related discipline required as a minimum. 
•    5+ years of sales and sales leadership experience.
•    Proven commercial understanding with a track record of developing and executing commercial strategies and action plans. 

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
•    A broad knowledge of technical ceramics, machining services, ceramic materials and their applications e.g. including as examples knowledge of non-oxide ceramics and applications in semiconductors, high temperature, aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, etc. 
•    An In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and concepts associated with machining.
•    Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills. 
•    Strong business and commercial acumen. 
•    Strong influencing skills and executive presence. 
•    A process-oriented mindset supported in applying sales productivity tools and systems (CRM, SAP, etc. ).
