Responsibilities: 

 

- Assists Commodity team or Sourcing leader in developing, implementing, communicating, and ensuring proper
governance of the corporate-wide Global Sourcing strategy.
- Liaise with key stakeholders in Product Management, ISCL, RD&E and others as determined to co-ordinate business
requirements and ensure a stable supply chain while delivering optimum value.
- Work with Commodity team to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and manufacturing/service
processes related to assigned commodity categories and leverages this knowledge to optimize value for KMT.
- Places purchase orders based on purchase requisitions and ensure the order management, in exceptions based on
demands.
- Tracks on-time delivery performance of goods and service, quality related issues, solving of exception messages and
overdue orders.
- Operates or supports an active supplier management scheme by passing on information, work with commodity team to
identify potential savings.
- Performs material availability analyses, ongoing control, adjustment of MRP parameters and master data as well as
expediting purchase and supply sources.
- Monitors raw material inventory, service levels and undertaking intelligent inventory management to guarantee high
supply levels with minimum inventories in a cost-effective way.
- Maintains highly transparent communication to both internal and external parties and interfaces during entire process
time.
- Analyzes future supply shortages and investigate remedies with the supplier, planning, production, quality, and
supporting functions.
- Actively contributes to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners and forwarding all relevant
information and pointing out process problems.
- Escalate and present situation to Team Leader if abovementioned measures are undertaken and unsuccessful.

 

Requirements:

- 5 years above of purchasing experience, and Bachelor defree above. 

- Experience of supplier development, qulity management, and audit. 

- Good English
