▪ Develop regional strategy for metal cutting (solid carbide end milling) and system growth, profitability enhancement, M&A, new product development, training, marketing communications, market outlook / forecasting and product lifecycle management.

▪ Develop annual execution plan and implement necessary actions to achieve market growth of milling and system products per above defined strategy – marketing calendar, sales ready messaging, sales and distributor training programs, value proposition presentations.

▪ Develop a comprehensive Regional new product go-to-market strategy (including, product / brand, place / channel, price, and promotion) to drive profitable sales growth in this important Kennametal served product segment.

▪ Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and end user operations and economics to specify ways that the existing product / service package can be improved to provide a competitive edge.

▪ Identify related products and / or services that represent attractive opportunities for profitably enlarging KMT’s participation in the market through either internal development or acquisition.

▪ Provide an organized summary of the most attractive opportunities in the marketplace, specifying what must be done internally to capitalize on them, and recommend a strategy for the product segment.

▪ Develop a reputation for industry expertise among key customer and end-user groups and leverage this know-how to improve profitability as well as to enhance the training and development of field sales personnel.

▪ Products/Technical support to field sales to achieve growth.



▪ Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial related field

▪ 5 – 10 years product marketing experience is preferred

▪ Good command of both written and oral English is a must

▪ Product knowledge of metal cutting, index milling and system

▪ Experience in Marketing and Operations in relation to Industrial Products. Must be a collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a range of simultaneous activities.

▪ Requires a proven track record of taking initiative and being able to persuade process owners to change

▪ A track record of successful Marketing strategy and execution of those strategies. A marketer of industrial products and proven accomplishments in a multi-cultural business enterprise

▪ Comprehensive knowledge of industry competitive situation
