Operator Programmer-Poland

A great opportunity has opened in out plant in Zory for an Operator-programmer.

This role includes the setting up and programming of CNC grinding machines, training of team members, regrinding of tools while maintaining precision, handling documentation, and keeping up with customer demand.

Responsibilities:

• Execute first set up and programming of 5-axis CNC grinding machines for all demanded custom solution products.
• Programming and regrinding of Kennametal/Widia solid carbide Custom Solution drills, step-drills, modulars, endmills and reamers without direct supervision.
• Support/instruct and train colleagues on demand.
• Ensure manufactured/reproduced tools are within given KMT specification and tolerance.
• Focus on workflow and priority orders.
• Be responsible for optimization of machining times of Numroto programs.
• Supports RRC periphery tasks.

Minimum skills required:

• Technical education with at least 3 years relevant metal cutting experience and 5-axis CNC application.
• 5 years CNC tool programming, manufacturing, and grinding experience. Broad experience in solid round tools.
• Experienced in servicing custom solution tools according to nominal specifications and drawings.
• Advanced level of English for communication within Kennametal for knowledge exchange and training purposes.

Required Certificates:

• Programming 5-axis CNC grinder NUMROTO, alternative Walter TOOLSTUDIO or equal.
