Key Job Responsibilities
1) Making part drawings for A, B, C & D class items.
2) All project related engineering calcuations.
3) Making new machine layout.
4) Design & drafting of complex assemblies like fixtures, spindles, work handling, slides etc.
5) Follow design checklists
6) Drawing revisions.
7) ISO document preparation.
8) Part list prepration.
9) PDM activites.
10) Interation with suppliers / vendors.
11) Interation other department.
12) Interaction with customer.
13) Preparation & adherance of project schedule
14) Budget adherance.

"1) Project owner - Independantly working on a project. Handling repeat / similar & new machines.
2)Have complete knowledge about project deliverables.
3) Prepare project design schedule and ensure the drawing release as per that.
4) Assisting other team members in all design activities.
5) Assist the team members for all types of documentation & data generation in PDM.
6) Follow ISO processes for the project.
7) Project calculations.
8) Selection of standard assemblies.& bought out parts.
9) Preparation of DAP Drgs and customer approval.
10) Selection & release of imported items.
11) Design different machine elements & small assemblies.
12) Design of Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Coolant circuits.
13) Cost estimation of A & B class components and budget aherance.

"A) Knows about different calculations for machine elements like - slides, spindles, columns, ball screws, bearings etc.
B) Basic engineering calculations for machine design.
C) Knowledge of different metal cutting process.
D) Geometrical dimensioning and tolerances and preparation of manufacturing drawings of components.
E) Knowledge of different materials.
F) Good knowledge of hydraulic, coolant & pneumatic circuits of machine & able to design them.
G) Knowledge of heat treatment processes.
H) Proficient in AutoCAD & Solid works softwares.
I) Have Good communication skills & should able to interact with suppliers & other departments.
J) Interact with customers.
Educational qualification
BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
CAD software’s like AutoCAD and NX.
