Tool Setter I

Location - Paragould, AR 

2nd Shift – 3:30 pm – 12:00 am

Job Summary

This position is responsible for servicing machining tools at customer production facility  Duties will include cleaning, evaluating, servicing, and measuring tooling to be used in a production environment. Will interact with Kennametal team on-site as well as customer employees on a day to day basis.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver tooling to the production floor
• Clean and evaluate production tooling
• Properly handle and replace used or dull tools
• Operate appropriate measuring equipment to validate geometric requirements
• Disassemble and reassemble tooling components
• Ensuring accurate inventory levels

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 2 to 3 years experience in a mechanical or manufacturing role is preferred
• Knowledge of machining process and metal cutting tooling preferred
• Ability to use a computer and learn new software system
• Ability to work independently without direct oversight day to day
• Ability to interact and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
