Job Summary and Mission:

This position includes receiving, organizing, kitting, and transporting raw materials and tooling for the Pressing Department.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport powders, raw materials, to the Pressing Department
- Assist in tracking inventory levels of raw materials, intermediate products, ensuring that materials are properly accounted for and readily available for production needs
- Unload deliveries of raw materials, inspect incoming shipments for quantity and quality, and verify against purchase orders and packing slips
- Ensure materials are properly stored in designated areas, adhering to safety guidelines and preventing contamination or damage to powders
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Kit production runs based on the production schedule ensuring that material orders are ready and no down time.
- Support Pressing Department by ensuring that materials are delivered to machines in a timely manner
- Monitor the condition of materials and report any discrepancies, damage or issues that could affect production quality or safety
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory transactions, and material usage
- Complete documentation in SAP, MII.
- Collect and properly dispose of scarp materials or waste generated during the production process, in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
