Production Employee 

Shift: Ability to work all shifts

Pay: $26.77/hour

We have a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in beautiful Victoria BC. Our team is world recognized for making core drill components for NASA’s Perseverance Rover on planet Mars.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building SV and Sinter-HIP furnace heats with assistance
• Breaking down SV and Sinter-HIP furnace heats
• Metallurgical measurements (Hc & MS) of sintered product
• Data entry, sintered product MS and HC readings in Excel, Access and Minitab Programs
• Preparation for Sandblasting and perform with assistance
• Cleaning Plugs, Trays and Painting them (with assistance)
• Transferring parts from Trays onto Boards or other containers as required
• Adhere to departmental clean up requirements in all areas
• Create NCR's & Obtain Remedial action
• Perform 100% Sorts
• And other duties as required by team-lead and department manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Grade 12 education.
• Some technical skills and/or experience in sintering techniques would be an asset.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
