Job Summary:

Senior Analyst – Analytics has a strong technical background in the Enterprise Reporting/Analytics area. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive and insightful Power BI reports and dashboards. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and business analytics to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Has good understanding of the functional aspects of the business and can interact with the business. Has a natural flair towards learning new things in the technical space and stay aligned with the company’s analytics roadmap. Has a customer-first attitude and passionately interacts with the business users, respond to their queries and solve their day-to-day issues and reporting requirements. And most importantly Is a great Team Player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role requires to take complete ownership of the Power BI Platform.

Data Integration and Analysis:

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analysis requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional Power BI solutions.

Report and Dashboard Development:

• Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Implement advanced visualizations to present data in a clear, effective manner.
• Ensure that reports and dashboards meet performance and usability standards.

Data Quality and Governance:

• Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of data within Power BI reports.
• Implement data security and governance measures as per organizational policies.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and provide support for Power BI-related queries.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to leverage Power BI for their reporting needs.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline report development and data management.
• Participate with business users for requirement gathering and convert that into a technical design document.

• Provide good solutions/approaches for any complex requirements.
• Understanding the data that will be available on Source Systems in business terms.
• Good Functional Knowledge in the areas of Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Finance and Production Planning preferably on a SAP ECC system.
• Aware of the standard Change management and Project management processes.
• This role will focus on Support, Enhancements and new Projects.

Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 6 -10 Years

Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:

Skillset:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Power BI development and report design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
