Job Summary

This person works with IT Solutioning, Business Partners, and Business teams to identify Business Requirements and Opportunities, Develop optimal functional and technical solutions in Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform system landscape.

This role is responsible for the full development and architecture lifecycle and must ensure that deliverables meet or exceed business expectations. Additionally, this role must continually improve delivery capabilities by defining and implementing techniques that improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, capture, and reuse intellectual property, leverage emerging technologies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize our overall value proposition.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

Collaborate with solution analysts and delivery teams to understand business requirements and development activities.

Customize and configure Dynamics 365 to meet business needs – including entity customization, form design, and workflow automation.

Develop and Implement JavaScript based customizations and client-side logic in Dynamics 365.

Design and Automate Business Processes using Power Automate.

Develop custom plugins and custom workflow activities.

Review development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation support.

Administration of the Dynamics/Power Platform, Monitoring and Automation as needed.

Provide estimated effort based upon high-level business requirements.

Manage self-development program - to continuously learn and gain greater understanding of new and existing tools and capabilities, as well as industry and IT trends, through effective research, third parties, networking with peers, user groups, conferences, and formal training.

Track issues and interact with internal and external consumers to resolve them.

 

Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:

 

4+ years of relevant experience with Microsoft CRM Technologies (preferably Dynamics 365 or v9.0 and above)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM application functional areas like Sales, Customer Service & Marketing

Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM application, Microsoft xRM platform (CRM SDK), Microsoft .NET Framework (C#, ASP.Net), Plugins and JavaScript technologies (JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, XML).

Experience with System Design, Configuration, Customization, Extensions, Integration, Testing and Support.

Experience integrating to and from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment using industry standard technologies such as web services (REST and SOAP APIs), File Transfer Protocols.

Proficiency in Power Platform with tools such as Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) and Power Automate.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services – Azure Application Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps etc.

Working knowledge of FetchXML, SQL Server based reporting environments.

Knowledge of Azure DevOps with CI/CD Pipelines will be added advantage.

Experience with Data Integration tools like Tibco Scribe etc.

Proven history of team, sub-team, or program leadership. Ability to assess team member strengths and make work assignments.

Conversant understanding of Salesforce Automation Processes, B2B Commerce platforms, and the role of ERP systems in large manufacturing companies.

Familiarity with the Industrial Manufacturing Industry as well as Industry-specific requirements and challenges is desirable.

Experience with any other ERP solution like SAP, SAP CRM, Salesforce.com is a plus.

Nice to have Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure related certifications
